Online Architecture Events in December 2021

As we approach the end of 2021, there’s still a chance to learn and get inspiration from fascinating places. Here’s a list of three online events that will be held during December, do not miss them!

Environments by Design: Health, Wellbeing and Place

When: 1-3 December 2021

This event will gather architects, planners and experts in public health to speak about their work and efforts towards wellbeing. Healthy buildings, urban planning, accessible design, healthcare design and environmental psychology are some of the fascinating topics that will be approached during this encounter. In addition to the exhibition of the panelists’ work, the event aims to be a platform for connections and the source of new ideas. It will be held virtually in Italy, Sweden, the UK and South Africa.

COP26 and Landscape Architecture

When: 1 December 2021, 11:00 – 12:00 CST

In this event Jane Findlay, President of the Landscape Institute, will talk about her experiences at COP26 and its importance for architects and engineers. This is an unmissable event for anyone interested in sustainability, urban planning and wellbeing.

Virtual Classical Architecture Art Tour

When: December 19, 2021, 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM CST

This virtual tour is a great opportunity for these holidays. It is dedicated to the architecture of the ancient Mediterranean, particularly Ancient Greek and Roman architecture, as well as the dialogue between them. You will be able to appreciate tombs, theaters and temples with a guide that will provide useful information on design, materials and history. It’s a great opportunity to have a different and educational experience during these leisure days.
